Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient, close to Market St, but the neighborhood had a rough feel with homeless individuals around. The rooms were a nightmare, old and shabby despite a supposed refurbishment, dirty, and smelly. The service was decent, but nothing extraordinary. The dining experience at 'Sam's diner' was average, offering only takeaway options. Overall, there were some drawbacks to consider alongside the positives.
The hotel room was comfortable and spacious, but the strong smell of smoke was a major issue. The price was decent, but the room size was not as advertised.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, with a basin for personal items and a sofa bed, storage trunk, and queen-sized bed for a great price. The service was excellent with great housekeeping and convenient shops available. The location was amazing, close to the city, transport links, and right next to Civic Center BART. The dining experience at Sam's diner was delightful. Overall, a fantastic stay with just a few minor drawbacks.
I felt the rooms had everything I needed like an ironing board, hair dryer, shampoos and soaps, clean towels, soft bedding, a fan, functioning window, TV, free WiFi, and plenty of outlets. However, the room was ridiculously hot during my stay. Having a private bathroom was a plus point.
The hotel rooms had everything we needed like an ironing board, hair dryer, shampoos, clean towels, soft bedding, a fan, functioning window, TV, free WiFi, and plenty of outlets. However, the rooms were small and full of homeless people. It's fine for a stopover to rest after exploring the city.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and spacious but felt a bit dark and hot at times. The price was relatively good, especially considering the sofa bed and storage trunk in addition to the queen-sized bed. However, the private bathroom was a plus. The service offered various amenities like housekeeping, shops, and pet services, although some aspects seemed lacking. The location was convenient for accessing nearby attractions but had a sketchy and dodgy atmosphere due to the presence of homeless individuals and drug dealers. Dining at 'Sam's diner' offered limited options like toasts. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory but left room for improvement.
